The Union Concept

ALTERNATIVE ROCK / BERLIN

Well, there is a band out there and they play as if they are trying to outrun a storm. One minute they are swirling in some kind of cosmic hurricane, guitars shattering glass, drums crashing like thunder, but then—then they pull you down. Down into a dream where the colours are neon, flickering like a busted sign in the rain.

The singer—oh, he has got that voice, you know, where it floats above the chaos like a bird trying to stay one step ahead of the wind, sometimes screaming into the void, sometimes whispering secrets only the night would understand.

They are singing about things you cannot quite put your finger on. Things that slip through the cracks when you are not looking. Like the world is spinning too fast and too slow at the same time. It is chaos, but it is controlled chaos. Beauty tangled in a mess of wires and cables, feedback humming in the background. It ain’t easy listening, but who said anything worth listening to ever was?
